of The South
Suburban Council on
Alcoholism and Substance Abuse is to deliver a continuum of substance abuse
treatment services to chemically dependent individuals, their families and to
the communities in which they live. A continuum of services includes the
direct provision of substance abuse services and may include associated service lines which enhance the organizations fit within a broader healthcare
environment. Linkages, associations, partnerships and affiliations with other healthcare providers and
payers will be pursued and realized to the extent
they support the mission of the organization. Services will be provided primarily in the greater Chicago Southland area and surrounding communities.
The
Council does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, religion or
national origin.
The
Council is handicap accessible and gives pregnant women and injecting
drug users priority to treatment services.
The
Council does not deny access to service because of a proven inability to
pay.
